Event description
Module 2 training for Serve the City DIY Project Volunteers and DIY Project Leaders

About this event

This training is a follow-on from module one on client contexts, debriefing and disclosures. It is for DIY Volunteers and Project Leaders.

The training aims to support volunteers operating in the new "post-Covid normal". It will look at self-management and building resilience so that we can maintain a healthy perspective on client contexts that we might encounter within our volunteering roles.

Training Objectives

At the end of this training module participants should:

  • Have a greater understanding of trauma and how to cope with trauma
  • Understand how to self-check and regulate and coping mechanisms and resilience.
