The 2023 MothsIreland Conference will bring together some of the most experienced recorders in the country with some of those who have only recently taken up this addictive hobby. Day 1 will be taken up with presentations covering a wide variety of moth related topics.

After the final presentation, moth traps will be placed in various locations in Abbeyleix Bog and left in place overnight.

An early start the following morning will focus on emptying the traps and identifying and recording all the species after which we will return to the hotel for a well-deserved breakfast. This will be followed by the final event which is an introduction to leaf-mines workshop.
