Mouth Cancer Awareness Seminar– Focus on Oral Health in Disadvantaged Communities.

AIMS:

  • To highlight oral health related issues in socially excluded and disadvantaged groups who may not attend for regular dental care.

  • To discuss the risk factors for mouth cancer and early detection.

  • To give practical advice about maintaining a healthy mouth.

  • The role of oral health as part of general and mental health

This Seminar is for: Community Health Workers, Public Health Nurses, Social Care Workers, people working in Addiction services, Homeless Services or anyone working with people in disadvantaged communities.
