Introducing our three speakers for Mum Talks November; Anna Daly, Personal Trainer Georgy Dillon and Psychologist Dr. Rebecca Quinn:
Anna Daly
Graduating with an International Marketing degree (MII) Anna hails from Dublin and calls herself ‘an accidental TV presenter’. As Marketing Manager for the TV3 network, Anna was nominated for Image Magazine Young Business Woman of the Year in 2008 before taking the plunge into an on-screen career. Since then Anna has bagged multiple awards for presenting and style including the People’s Choice Award at the TVNow Awards and Celebrity Mum of the Year as well as joining the esteemed judging panel for the inaugural Pride of Ireland Awards.
During lockdown a passion project would come to fruition, a brand Anna worked quietly on for many years was born. 'Little Bliss' was launched in December 2020 and saw Anna sell out of her classic grey marl organic cotton hoodie every time it was restocked. The range grew and Anna's Little Bliss brand is now widely known for it's 'twinning' pieces for little and big people. Her sustainable approach to the collection has brought significant interest from press and has earned her a nomination for an Image Business woman of the year award earlier this year and the all important Guaranteed Irish badge.
Anna is married to Ben and they have three boys; James (11), Euan (9) and Rhys (5). Life is busy and home is noisy but Anna wouldn’t have it any other way!
Georgy Dillon
Georgy is a pre and postnatal personal trainer and mother to two young girls. From outdoor bootcamps to one to one training sessions Georgy specialises in helping mothers and mother's-to-be with their exercise and fitness goals through their journey of motherhood - showing you how to exercise safely and effectively.
Georgy will be sharing her story and also top tips on how to look after yourself while also caring for a young baby with some gentle and easy exercises.
Dr. Rebecca Quinn is a chartered clinical psychologist and is the Director of the Psychology Practice,Bray; a practice for children, adolescents and their parents, which she founded in early 2022. She has 15years experience working with younger people and their parents within both disability and primary care. She has also worked in the area of neuropsychology in King’s College Hospital London and Beaumont Hospital. In August 2022, she decided to take a career break from her other job with the HSE (Children’s Disability Network Team) so that she could spend more time with her 3 children (ages 7, 5 and 1) and focus on being more creative within her private work also. Outside of work she loves crossfit, writing sea dipping and her friends.
