Mumager's RAMP-UP after maternity workshop
Thu 10 November 2016, 09:15 – 16:45 GMT
Latest research shows that 81% of mums feel guilty about returning to work. As an employer, providing support to mums returning from maternity leave can help them feel supported and valued - and as a result more engaged.
This workshop equips mums who are currently on maternity leave, or who have recently returned to work, with practical tools.
This highly interactive and informative workshop covers a number of topics including:
Understanding and handling conflicting priorities - becoming a parent changes a person's perspective on life. A professional mum will encounter conflicting priorities when it comes to work and family and so we take a step back to reflect on values and how to manage these conflicts
Setting boundaries - we look at practical ways to manage work, home and family by enabling each mum to set boundaries so that work and life can be more successfully integrated
Managing guilt - how to manage the emotional roller coaster that many mums face when leaving their babies to go back to work. We focus on practical things you can do to feel confident with the choices you’ve made.
Hit the ground running – getting back into work mode can take time, not to mention the anxiety of catching up on all you’ve missed. We explore how mums can help themselves to speed up their transition back to work and feel confident from Day 1.
The workshop is run by the Mumager coaches – Alex and Tracy. They are experienced facilitators and coaches in positive psychology, HR, management, leadership skills, stress and resilience.
Based on their own experiences and research with working mums and employers they have created the unique Mumager workshop – tailored exactly to what employers and mums need and want.
