Join us for an evening with Indy Power from the Little Green Spoon and expert food stylist Jette Virdi for our Summer food stories event. Indy will be demonstrating live on the night her famous ‘Power Poke Bowls’ followed by a Q&A session. Jette will be sharing her expert advice on how best to utilize food styling for your business. We will be sharing the latest trends in food & expert advice for your business to stay on trend this summer.

Indy Power Bio

Author of The Little Green Spoon cook book, Indy Power is an Irish food writer & blogger, TV presenter and food photographer. Her food philosophy is simple: eat to feel good. Within two years of setting up her food blog, Little Green Spoon: The Healthy Irish Kitchen, Indy has accumulated almost 60,000 followers on Instagram.

Jette Virdi Bio

Jette is a food stylist, creative director, home economist, workshop host and mentor. Born in Southhampton Jette Virdi came to Ireland, via owning a hotel in Mexico, to spend 3 months at The Ballymaloe Cookery School. Jette has worked with numerous high profile chefs including Neven Maguire, Donal Skehan and Rachel Allen. Now based in Dublin Jette works with brands big and small to help them with a wide range of things from imagery, social media and events.


Event Line-Up

  • 5pm – Reception

Welcome drinks and opening address. We’ll have finger food from development chef Clement Pavie as well as wine tastings from wine expert, Jean Smullen.

  • 5.30pm – 7.00pm – Talk and demo from Indy Power and Jette Virdi

The talks will be hosted by TV3’s The Restaurant Maitre d’John Healy in the Musgrave MarketPlace Food Theatre. He'll be chatting to Indy about her career so far and where her passion for cooking came from. Indy will then do a poke bowl demonstration and a Q&A session. We’ll then hear from Jette Virdi about her fascinating career and how food styling is critical in today's market. She will then style two dishes with a step by step guide on how to do this yourself in your own business.

  • 7.00pm – 7.20pm – Food Trends Roundup

Exclusive Chef Mark McCarthy will be speaking about the latest food trends in food for 2017 followed by a 5 minute Q&A session.

Enjoy finger food from Chef Clement Pieve and sample new and innovative products from the Musgrave MarketPlace range.
