Presented in conjunction with the exhibition the Last Great Album of the Decade at the LAB Gallery and the Musictown Festival

This tour responds to and ​engages with the city’s architectural fabric and encourages consideration of the informal organisations and social structures that emerge around -and within- music scenes. Beginning at The LAB, the walking tour will take a circuitous route through the city, visiting several venues and sites of musical and social significance.

This walking tour will take in various locations across the city, commencing at The LAB, Foley Street.

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather!

This tour will be prepared and led by historian and author Donal Fallon. One of the founders of the award-winning blog on Dublin history and culture, ‘Come Here To Me’, Fallon is a regular contributor to Irish media (print and radio) on Dublin’s history, society and popular culture. This takes place as part of The Last Great Album of the Decade, at The LAB, Curated by Padraic E. Moore and Sheena Barrett,
