Music for Wexford - Lynda O'Connor and Anamus Ensemble

By Music for Wexford

Overview

Two seasons, one unmissable night. Vivaldi and the Irish Four Seasons.

Anamus – the soul of us

A new and exciting international music ensemble of world class musicians with a like-minded vision to break down the barriers between performers and audiences. Programming music from all genres, often in one concert, the collective aim is to draw the listener into the performance in an entirely new way, offering them a chance to hear music with all their senses.

The ensemble was formed by Irish violinist Lynda O’Connor for her debut AvieRecords album ‘The Irish Seasons’. Each musician was hand-picked by the violinist and when the ensemble bonded throughout the recording process, they decided to form a touring group.

Programme:

Ailbhe Mc Donagh: World Premiere for Cello and chamber ensemble

Ailbhe Mc Donagh: The Irish Four Seasons
