Dublin mezzo-soprano Gemma Ní Bhriain, Armagh pianist Cahal Materson, and Cork cellist Yseult Cooper-Stockdale are all alumni of the Royal Irish Academy of Music, from where they graduated in 2014.
Even though they are a relatively new chamber ensemble, being founded in 2021, their inaugural concerts at Drogheda Classical Music and Belfast International Arts Festival were greeted with high praise. Their Drogheda Classical Music recital was even aired on RTÉ Lyric FM in its entirety. They look forward to performing more chamber music works together with a specific focus on repertoire that highlights the natural pairing and beauty of the cello and voice and works by female composers
A beautiful concert of music for Piano, Cello and Mezzo-Soprano with works by Brahms, Schumann, Clarke, Massanet, Faure and Rachmaninoff

About the organiser
Since its foundation in 1993, Music for Wexford has presented Wexford audiences with an impressive programme of chamber music concerts featuring both Irish and international musicians. The organisation has constantly worked towards providing high calibre concerts which are priced to make them available to everyone.
Each year Music for Wexford has sought to stage a series of concerts that represents an attractive, interesting and sometimes unfamiliar repertoire performed by wonderful musicians. Music for Wexford also have a particular interest in promoting young musicians and singers at the start of their careers, and this year’s series of Summer lunchtime concerts reflects that interest, with an abundance of young musicians, singers and composers forming the majority of the line up.
