Shunske Sato is a violinist known for his distinctive and engaging performances on both modern and historical instruments. Equally in demand as concertmaster, chamber musician, soloist and teacher, the diversity of his activities reflect his versatile and resourceful nature. Resident in the Netherlands, Shunske is artistic director and concertmaster of the Netherlands Bach Society, and is concertmaster of Concerto Köln. Since 2013 he has been a faculty member of the Amsterdam Conservatory, where he teaches violin in the context of historical performance practice of eras ranging from baroque to early 20th-century. He has recently been appointed Head of Early Music at the Royal Conservatoire of Music in the Hague.


Teunis van der Zwart has made numerous recordings as well as performing with outstanding ensembles early music ensembles such as the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, Orchestre des Champs-Elysées, windsextet Nachtmusique, Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, Bach Collegium Japan, Collegium Vocale Gent. For fifteen years he was the principal horn player of the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra, a position he now holds with the Orchestra of the 18th Century. Among his many recordings is the Brahms horn trio with violinist Isabelle Faust and pianist Alexander Menlikov. He has recently been appointed Head of Early Music at the Royal Conservatory of Music in the Hague.


Shuann Chai is an active and engaging performer, recognised for her interpretations on a wide range of historical pianos as well as the modern piano. Concert appearances include La Folle Journée (Tokyo), Bach en Combrailles (France), Troldsalen (Norway), St. Cecilia’s Hall (Edinburgh), Jordan Hall (Boston), Forbidden City Concert Hall (Beijing), and the American Church of Paris.
