Music in the Forest Hybrid Festival offers an alternative solution to the environmental impact generated by pre-pandemic music festivals, supporting artists who want to share music and art in a more sustainable and innovative way.

The Festival is a growing community of people who are motivated to make things happen differently in our current and challenging times to protect and strengthen their future’s generations on this planet. We support global and local artists and choose to work with local businesses wherever possible.

Hybrid events are a mix of virtual and in-person events. The audience can participate and engage with the event, no matter where they are. It will be held 90% online and 10% audience by invitation-only.

This is a pilot project, dreamt up by Bianca Fachel and hosted at Birdland Music Studio in the Midlands of Ireland.

All the ticket sales will cover costs of the Festival and shared equally between artists.

Music Festivals, on average, generate 23,500 tonnes of waste which includes plastic bottles, food scraps, abandoned tents and clothing.

Bianca Fachel, Brazilian singer songwriter, is the person behind the idea of the festival.

Artists from different parts of the World will perform their original songs and songs that they like via different ways, recorded videos, music video clips and live videos.

This live Festival will be streamed direct from Birdland Music Studio little forest in Ireland. A retreat to nurture creativity, write, produce and record songs. The Studio was built with recycled materials, reused pallets, doors and windows and second hand furniture.

After releasing her single The Way Back Home, Bianca’s first online show Land of Dreams - A Journey to Inspiration Vol. 1 was a huge success drawing an audience from all over the world to come together for a time in the delightful ambience of Birdland.

The second show The timeless River - a wrinkle in time Vol. 2 was a repeated successfully in 2021.

"Music in the Forest is a local event that generates a small, tight-knit live audience but also a broad online audience that combined can be around thousands of people.

Coming from a Music festivals background, as an attendee and musician I always questioned how much rubbish and impact these festivals bring to the environment.

“The main goal is to raise awareness for a sustainable and less impactful way of doing music events in the environment. To deliver a unique experience to the audience through music, new interactive art performances, doing so effectively as its ethos says. We cannot deny that the Festival Music Industry has created an enormous impact on the planet, generating tons of rubbish that ends up in a landfill. Many musicians are far away now from this Industry and I want to help create a new alternative to act for climate justice through music and art.” Bianca Fachel (Festival Director)

The tickets being sold are for watching the Festival live, online.

The Festival will be streamed mainly in English (Portuguese when possible).

This event is for the whole family and there is no age limit.

This is a private event and will not be streamed on social media.

In case of unforeseen circumstances the event will be rescheduled.

Music in the Forest Festival Híbrido* é uma solução alternativa para o impacto ambiental gerado pelos festivais de música pré-pandemia, apoiando artistas que querem compartilhar música e arte de forma mais sustentável e inovadora.

O Festival é uma comunidade crescente de pessoas motivadas a fazer as coisas acontecerem de maneira diferente em nossos tempos atuais e desafiadores para proteger e fortalecer as gerações futuras neste planeta. Estamos apoiando artistas globais e locais e optamos por trabalhar com empresas locais sempre que possível. Todas as vendas de ingressos cobrirão os custos do Festival e serão divididas igualmente entre os artistas.

Os Festivais de Música aqui na Irlanda, Inglaterra e Europa em média, geram 23.500 toneladas de resíduos que incluem garrafas plásticas, restos de comida, barracas abandonadas e roupas.

Os eventos híbridos são uma mistura de eventos virtuais e presenciais. O público pode participar e se envolver com seu evento, não importa onde esteja. Será realizado 90% online e 10% de audiência apenas por convite.

Bianca Fachel, cantora e compositora brasileira, é a pessoa por trás da ideia do festival.

Artistas de diferentes partes do mundo apresentarão suas músicas originais e versões de músicas de diferentes maneiras, vídeos gravados, videoclipes e vídeos ao vivo. É um festival eclético, trazendo variados gêneros musicais.

Este festival será transmitido ao vivo, diretamente da pequena floresta do Birdland Music Studio na Irlanda. Um retiro para nutrir a criatividade, escrever, produzir e gravar músicas. O Studio foi construído com materiais reciclados, paletes reaproveitados, portas e janelas e móveis de segunda mão.

Depois de lançar seu single The Way Back Home, o primeiro show online de Bianca, Land of Dreams - A Journey to Inspiration Vol. 1 foi um enorme sucesso atraindo um público de todo o mundo para o ambiente encantador de Birdland.

O segundo show The Timeless River - A wrinkle in time Vol. 2 foi repetido com sucesso em 2021.
