This family event will introduce, in a fun and engaging manner, the different types of microbes which share our world with us.
Topics will include:
- hand hygiene
- dental plaque being bacterial biofilm
- yeast as a useful fungus
- food poisoning caused by microbes
- the use of masks to help prevent the spread of microbes
- the using disinfecting sanitisers to help project humans from harmful microbes
How will it work? We will supply a link for you to stream this event via YouTube. You can schedule the event at a time that suits you on your selected date.
As this is an interactive online event, parents will be given a pack that will include a guide on how to run the event at home and a kit of equipment you will need.
You will be able to pause and play the streamed event so the class can perform the experiments in real-time.
