Na Fianna 5K Fun Run 2018
Description
The third Na Fianna 5K Fun Run takes place on Good Friday, 30th March 2018.
Based in Glasnevin on the northside of Dublin, CLG Na Fianna was founded in 1955. Na Fianna is one of very few clubs nationally who embrace and cater for the full diversity of sporting codes of our Associations: Gaelic Football, Hurling, Ladies Football, Camogie, Handball and Rounders. A major power in Dublin senior football circles, Na Fianna won three-in-a-row county titles between 1999-2001, and were Leinster champions in 1999. The Na Fianna Nursery established in the early 1990’s was one of the first of its kind in the country and has won high acclaim nationally as a model of best practice in Juvenile coaching. Membership is at an all-time high with almost 3,000 members. We field over 100 teams across all codes and ages.
Everyone - not just club members - is welcome to join in the Na Fianna 5K Fun Run. Whether you're a walker, jogger or seasoned club runner; whether you're eight or 80, we want you to join us on Good Friday for a run to remember! Starting and finishing at our clubhouse on Mobhi Road, the race will be run on quiet local roads, taking in a circuit of leafy Albert College Park. Runners will be chip-timed so friends and family members will be able to compare times and give themselves targets for future runs.
We look forward to seeing everyone at Na Fianna on Good Friday. (Runners should arrive at least 40 mins before the scheduled start time of 10am.)
Manual registration will also be available on Wednesday 28th March in Clubhouse 7:30pm – 9:00pm
Registration also available on the day from 8.30am to 9.30am.
