About this event
The Irish World Academy is delighted to announce that the North Atlantic Fiddle Convention 2021 will be happening as a virtual event, to be held 23rd to 27th June from the University of Limerick. NAFCO features traditions of fiddle music and dance from countries and communities around the North Atlantic, combining performances, workshops, and sessions, with an academic conference. This event is a partnership between the University and Limerick City and County Council Culture and Arts Office and will feature performances of music and dance from Ireland, including local Limerick performers, as well as from North America and Scandinavia.
