Description

Phase 2 is the second phase of the NASC course and introduced coaches to advanced systems of training science and athlete management strategies.


Course Overview

Phase 2 builds upon the solid foundation taught in Phase 1 by providing coaches with an even greater understanding of all-around strength, power, speed and movement skill. Coaches will start to look at athlete management strategies, Energy Systems Development (ESD), advanced Velocity Based Training and Olympic lifting.


Learning the NASC framework will allow coaches to become instinctively better strength & conditioning coach and all rounded practitioners.

Advanced Velocity Based Training (VBT)

Advanced plyometric

Multi-directional speed & change of direction (COD)

Max velocity sprinting

Energy System Development (ESD)

Course Delivery

The S&C course is regarded as the industry standard for strength and conditioning practitioners. The accreditation in strength and conditioning is an NQF Vocational Qualification. Each module provides a comprehensive overview of the specific areas of strength & conditioning.


Once coaches have completed the course, they will be capable of working as part of a multidisciplinary team as a fully qualified strength and conditioning coach.
