Craft & Drawing DROP-IN Workshops 11am - 3pm
Join us on May 18th at the National Design & Craft Gallery and experience lots of FREE creative family fun and artistry this National Drawing Day.
We have a wide range of workshops including the following;
Drawing using wool and thread on handmade felt squares with Marika Manning.
Explore the work of Ann-Kathrin Hartel and learn how to make your own handmade sheets of paper incorporating embossing technique with hand paper maker,Tunde Toth.
Draw patterns with glue guns & threads to create a bracelet with Marie Willgard Kelly of the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland Jewellery and Goldsmithing Skills & Design Course.
Learn the skill of silk screen printing onto tote bags and create themed textile designs inspired by our Monumentality/Fragility exhibition.
Garden Party! Interactive lawn activities led by Junior Volunteers, including slate chalk drawing, wigwam weaving, bubbles and more. Homemade Lemonade provided.
