Description

Super Saturday Session series for 2017, hosted by Lake Macquarie Landcare.

Join us for a jam-packed day of presentations about Native Trees from Steve Dewar of Warners Bay Landcare, Lake Macquarie City Council staff - Nursery Officer Alex Wilson and Project and Technical Officer Graham Pritchard, Ann Loughran from Trees In Newcastle, Suzanne Pritchard from Coal Point Progress Association Environmental Trust Threatened Species project. Discussions will include: Endemic native trees , native trees and development, street and backyard trees, the responses/resilience of trees after fire, native trees and wildlife.

When: Saturday 15 July, 9.30am - 1pm

Where: Coal Point Progress Association Hall - wheelchair accessible.

Please bring your own water bottle, wear closed in shoes and sun protective clothing. Morning tea and lunch will be provided at the event. For catering purposes, please advise if you intend to stay for Lunch when booking. This event is limited to participants older than 12 years.
