Our guest speakers will be International Fashion Designer Louise Kennedy & Caroline Kennedy of Kennedy PR + Brand.
Tipperary born Louise & Caroline Kennedy are the embodiment of successful sisters with an inspiring story of sibling friendship and support as they journeyed to establish respective career paths in the worlds of fashion and public relations.
Caroline Kennedy
Caroline has over 30 years of experience working within the Irish media sector. In 1992, she founded Kennedy PR + Brand which is now recognised in Ireland as a leader in the field of Consumer PR and marketing communications. She counts many high-profile Irish & International brands as her clients; over the years she has worked with many respected household names such as Miele, Nespresso, Hayfield Family Collection, Jaguar, Landrover, Ashford Castle, The Merrion hotel, the IFTAs, Image Publications, Sheen Falls Lodge, Brown Thomas, Waterford Crystal, Tiffany & Co. and of course, Louise Kennedy. Prior to starting her own business, Caroline worked as a television researcher, radio producer and press officer. She sits on the board of The Ireland Funds.
Louise Kennedy
Louise Kennedy is one of Ireland’s most successful fashion designers and businesswomen. A graduate of the Grafton Academy of fashion and design, Louise established her own label in 1983, the same year she finished her studies. Since then she has earned an international reputation for creating clothes and accessories that are appreciated for their sophistication and elegance. She has been the recipient of many prestigious awards including the Tipperary Person of the Year award and a Fashion Oscar for Designer of the Year, The Bird and Bell award from The Ireland Funds of Great Britain for and Irish Designer of the Year. She has also dressed members of the British, European and Middle Eastern Royal Families and many international actresses. Louise has shown her fashion collections globally, retails from her stores in Dublin and London, and exports her work all over the world. Just recently, she was selected to design the new Aer Lingus uniform, last designed by Louise in 1998. Additionally, she has been selected as a finalist on the 2018 EY Entrepreneur of the Year programme.
