Network Ireland Limerick - Christmas Book Club

Network Ireland Limerick would love you to join us at our last Book Club event of the year on Thursday evening, 1st December, from 6.00-7.15pm at No.1 Pery Square. This book club is the perfect opportunity to round off the year and ring in the festive season together.

Our book club events focus on books from which we can take inspiration and learnings that we may apply to our personal and professional lives. It is hoped that the chosen books will elicit thought provoking conversation between members from which we’ll grow both personally and professionally, learn from each other's perspectives and, ultimately, prosper together.

The chosen book for the Christmas Book Club is:

'The Gift' by Edith Eger.

This practical and inspirational guide to healing from the award-winning, New York Times bestselling author of The Choice shows us how to stop destructive patterns and imprisoning thoughts to find freedom and enjoy life.

In The Gift, Eger provides a hands-on guide that gently encourages us to change the thoughts and behaviors that may be keeping us imprisoned in the past.

She describes the twelve most pervasive imprisoning beliefs she has known—including fear, grief, anger, secrets, stress, guilt, shame, and avoidance—and the tools she has discovered to deal with these universal challenges.

Filled with empathy, insight, and humor, The Gift captures the vulnerability and common challenges we all face and provides encouragement and advice for breaking out of our personal prisons to find healing and enjoy life.

 There will be 4 Book Clubs & 4 Podcast Clubs throughout 2022, some on Zoom and some in-person.  Tickets, while free, are limited to just 20 for each event, it is therefore important to book your tickets early.
