Event description

Description

Join us for connection and fun! Bring your nonviolent communication (NVC) related questions and I will bring some lighthearted activities to explore. This is a chance for you to connect with other people in Dublin interested in applying nonviolent communication in their lives, get a bit of practice, and have a taste of what a practice group might be like. All levels of experience with NVC are welcome.

This event will repeat on the 4th Tuesday of every month, unless otherwise canceled.

What is Nonviolent Communication?
Nonviolent Communication is a practice developed by Marshall Rosenberg. It's based on some very simple universal truths: everyone has the same basic human needs (community, belonging, to be seen and heard, etc) and everything we do is an attempt to meet a need. And if we can connect with each other at the level of these basic human needs, conflict dissolves and authentic connection grows spontaneously. Not just a method of communicating, NVC is also a tool for profound self-awareness, a model for understanding what motivates the human race, and a system to foster peace through nonviolence.

• What to bring
Bring your NVC related questions (or conflict related questions!) and your curiosity!

• Important to know
The cost of this event is 5€ + a donation of your choice.
You are invited to pay the venue directly for the length of time that you spend here (that's the 5€-7€).
After you've experienced the evening, you are invited to give Selene any amount that reflects your comfort level and the value you've received.
