Overview

Join Northside Eco Readers in Fairview for monthly climate & sustainability book discussions and positive local action.

Join us for the very first gathering of Northside Eco Readers!
A new local book club for anyone in the Inner City, Marino, Fairview, Clontarf, or Drumcondra interested in climate change, sustainability, and positive action.

Come along to share your thoughts on this month's book, exchange local stories and ideas, connect with like-minded neighbours, and explore how we can accelerate climate action together.

We meet on the second Tuesday of each month in The Strand House (Fairview) to discuss our current book and connect with like-minded neighbours in a friendly and welcoming space.

You don’t need to be an expert – just curious, open-minded and ready to share ideas. Expect informal discussion, respectful conversation and a focus on solutions and hope.

Spaces are limited, so please reserve your spot – we look forward to meeting you!

The organiser:

Hello – I’m Clémence, though most friends here in Ireland call me Clem.
I’m delighted to be an An Taisce Climate Ambassador in 2025 and I hope to support green initiatives and spark new sustainable ideas in my local community.

Originally from France, I’ve been living in Dublin with my husband since 2018, and we now have a 4-year-old son, Conor. I work as an Operations Manager and hold a PG Cert in Sustainability from UCC.

My interests include organic food projects, foraging (I can’t pass a blackberry bush without stopping for a taste), raising children more sustainably, safe cycling, and of course—reading.
