Online Marketing in Galway (OMiG) are inviting you to a seminar sponsored by Local Enterprise Office, Galway with two very special guest speakers, Breda Fox of Local Enterprise Office, and Peter Bellew of Ryanair. 

In addition to our two guest spaekers we also welcome along, Breda Fox of the Local Enterprise Office, Galway for a special announcement.  

When: Tuesday, 30th September at 7pmWhere: The Harbour Hotel, Galway.

Our speakers are as follows: 

  • Peter Bellew, Head of Sales and Marketing, Ryanair- 'Ryanair Digital Success – Blending Old Media with New'
  • Breda Fox, Head Of Enterprise, Local Enterprise Office, Galway - 'The importance of Digital for Start Ups Companies in Ireland'
  • Finalising the night Q&As, then tea, coffee and networking!     
 
 

Ryanair, Head of Sales & Marketing - Peter Bellew. 

A graduate of Business at TCD, Peter was corrupted by Dr. Sean Barrett – Professor of Transport Economics into a love of the tourism industry.

A 30 year veteran of the airline, airport and Tourism industry he been involved in start-ups and multi nationals.  

He got his school to buy the second Apple Mac II in Europe and was the proud purchaser of the second commercial ISDN line in the UK!

Peter, has been involved in the transformation of Ryanair’s customer department in 2014.


Ryanair Company Bio: 

Ryanair is Europe’s favourite low fares airline, operating more than 1,600 daily flights (over 500,000 per year) from 69 bases, across 1,600 low fare routes, connecting 186 destinations in 30 countries and operating a fleet of 300 new Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Ryanair has recently announced firm orders for a further 180 new Boeing aircraft, which will be delivered between 2014 and 2018. Ryanair currently has a team of more than 9,500 highly skilled professionals, will carry 84.6 million customers this year and has an outstanding 30-year safety record.


Local Enterprise Office, Galway (LEO, Galway), Head of Enterprise -  Breda Fox

Breda has been CEO at the Galway County & City Enterprise Board (now, LEO, Galway) since 2010. Since then she has been the driving force and energy of the Enterprise Board, consistently steering a client focused service where start-ups and small businesses are encouraged to come for help, assistance and guidance.

Breda has been fundamental in creating the supportive environment that has developed to promote entrepreneurship in business and also within schools and colleges. This client focus and motivation will continue in her role as the Head of Enterprise for the Galway LEO – supporting and driving economic development for Galway County & City.

Breda brings a wealth of experience from both Entrepreneurial and Multinational businesses in the private sector which is strategically significant for her vision for the Galway LEO going forward. She will continue to deliver new services and supports, and actively try to find new ways to reach and help clients while working hard to forge and develop strong relationships with clients in order to support and encourage them in.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes. Please go back to your eventbrite registration to do this. 

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Once you are registered for the event on Tuesday 30th September 2014  then you can simply check in with one of our volunteers on the night with your name. 

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

Yes, please just let us know the name of the person or company who originally registered.
