At Rathú, we believe that “prevention is better than cure” and that through building emotional resilience and emotional awareness, we can nurture good mental and emotional health in our young people. Through supporting teachers create positive learning environments and hone their skills in this area, we can make a positive impact on student classroom experience and learning outcomes.

Develop the understanding of how to teach about good mental and emotional health in a way that children can relate to and understand. This approach combines practical learning strategies and activities with psychological theory. You will develop the skills to cultivate a positive classroom environment and nurture emotional and mental fitness, including building resilience, emotional awareness and agility, self-care; as well as effective child-centered mindfulness techniques.
