Are you a small enterprise operating within 10km of the Irish coastline? Have you an entrepreneurial idea that relates to the sea or seafood?

If so, join us for a free online information session to find out about funding you might be eligible for under the Brexit Blue Economy Enterprise Development Scheme. A Zoom link will be emailed to any registered attendees in advance of the webinar

With €25 million available, the aim of the Scheme is to stimulate growth in rural coastal communities post-Brexit. The scheme is open to three streams of projects: Capital Investment, Business Mentoring & Capacity Development, and Upskilling & Training and for people working in any of the following Blue Economy areas:

• Small Non-commercial Harbour/Pier Activities

• Boat Building and Repair

• Coastal Tourism

• Marine Leisure and Sport

• Seafood

• Renewable Energy Initiatives supporting the Blue Economy

The Scheme is an initiative of the Government of Ireland and the European Union, and is being administered by Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM) and delivered through Fisheries Local Action Groups (FLAGs). The Brexit Blue Economy Enterprise Development Scheme – Flying the flag for Ireland’s coastal communities.
