30 minute information session followed by a live Q&A.
Join our Lecturer in Politics & Society, Steph Hanlon, and Gerard Elwood to learn about the new Higher Diploma in Politics & Society commencing in January 2023. Steph will explore topics including: overview of the programme, course delivery, module content and assessments.
This course has been revised to be delivered online - with the exception of a two-day Pedagogy workshop on-campus.

About the Speakers
Gerard Elwood teaches Leaving Certificate Politics and Society at Maynooth Post Primary School, Kildare. He studied Politics and Sociology in both his primary degree and secondary teaching qualifications. He is currently a Higher-Level examiner and member of the Politics and Society Teachers Association.
Steph Hanlon is the Programme Director of the Social, Political and Community Studies programme in Carlow College. She lectures in Politics and Sociology, Citizenship and Social Movement Studies. Steph has been delivering Politics and Society Workshops since 2018 and is a member of the Politics and Society Teachers Association.
