Join us for an overview of the supports available from Family Carers Ireland

About this event

This is the perfect session to attend and discover how Family Carers Ireland can support you in your caring role.

This session will have 3 guest speakers;

Karen McCullagh, National Lead for Community Carer Supports - introduction to the community supports available to family carers through FCI and their local Carer Support Manager. This will cover the Universally accessible supports (website, forum, social media, calendar of events, careline) and Targeted level supports (training, support groups, community events) that we have on offer.

Anna De Siun, National Lead for Psychosocial Supports - an introduction to Family Carers Ireland’s counselling service, and a discussion on how counselling can support our mental health and wellbeing.

Pat Grogan, National Lead for Individualised Carer Supports - overview of Individual Carer Supports, including an overview of how Family Carers Ireland support carer wellbeing using the Carer’s Outcome Star, the Emergency Card Scheme, the Emergency Respite Service, Working Care Out project and Rethink projects.

Each guest speaker will present for 30 minutes, including a short Q&A section.
