Recently nominated for 'Best Original Folk Track' for the RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards, Padraig Jack is currently one of Irelands best original Folk singer-songwriters. Hailing from Inis Mór, Padriag's songwriting moves elegantly from Gaelic to English and has been enjoyed by audiences all over the world.
Padriag has toured and played with Sharon Shannon and Damien Dempsey in recent years as well as making numerous appearances on RTÉ television and radio. In 2022 he recorded and performed with Foster & Allen for the RTÉ show 'Lost in Music'. His song 'Making Sand' was no.1 in the RTE Airplay Chart for four weeks in a row this summer, leading to appearances on The Miriam O Callaghan Show & The Ray Darcy Show
Two Black Dogs are delighted to bring Padraic back to Westport on December 1st 2022 to perform in the intimate setting of the Glasshouse at The Quay Bar, overlooking the water of Clew Bay and the sight of Croagh Patrick. Tickets are limited to only 50 for this event and are exclusively available from Eventbrite prior to the event.
