Learn the basics of pop up and paper engineering and apply it to a story. Make your own multi-layered pop up page(s) and then enhance them with paper circuits. Using simple copper tape, LEDs and a coin cell battery you can illuminate your story, making a once off pop up all of your own creation. This intensive workshop is ideal for those interested in the place where art meets invention.

These workshops will be aimed towards organisations working with 10-24 year olds. Priority will be given to:

1. Organisations working with marginalised young people.

2. Non-formal education providers such as Youthreachs and CTCs.

3. Other community and voluntary organisations working with young people.

Additional places will be offered to organisations working with children and young people at the discretion of Mayo, Sligo and Leitrim ETB.
