About this event

Title: Parenting, Puberty and SEN; supporting teens with additional needs navigate puberty.

This is a two-part webinar which will cover three core themes for supporting parents with issues that may arise during puberty; Communication, Knowledge and Skill development. The sessions will be grounded in a positive and strength-based approach which will focus on more on ‘what is strong’ rather than ‘what is wrong’.

Webinar A -April 13th

This session will focus on the importance of clear, consistent communication around puberty. Creating an inclusive and safe environment in which to express curiosity, seek answers and gently challenge is essential to helping teens thrive.

Webinar B -May 11th

This session will focus on reviewing useful resources to develop knowledge about puberty and identification of skills needed to enable teens to flourish in respectful healthy relationships with others.
