About this Event

Foghlaim conas na manglaim bhlasta a dhéanamh ó Leabhar Manglam Oifigiúil Peaky Blinders

Line up your whiskey, gin and those strange bottles at the back of the cupboard that you never know quite what to do with! Finn McDonnell, owner of Dick Mack’s bar and custodian of its renowned selection of whiskeys, will host a cocktail class based on the recipes from the official Peaky Blinders cocktail book, full to the brim with themed cocktails based on the characters in the hit TV series. You must be over 18 to attend the event.

Competition Time!! Win a gift hamper ( Dingle Distillery products: Bottle of Gin, Whiskey, Bottle of Vodka, a Dingle Hoodie, Key Ring , Dingle Whiskey glass, Dingle Gin Glass and Peaky Blinders goodies from the official licenses: boardgame, t-shirt & framed picture). You must be over 18 to enter this competition.

Enter the competition by sharing a picture of their cocktail on social during the festival tagging #PeakyblindersCocktails @DingleLit. We would pick a winner at the end of the event.

The names alone sound tantalising-Vendetta, Red Horse, Birmingham Sour, The Bloody Hand, The Shelby Julep, Easy Dizzy and more. Immerse yourself in the vintage style and atmosphere of the hit TV show (starring frequent Dingle visitor Cillian Murphy) by making delicious cocktails inspired by the post-War world of Peaky Blinders.

Join us for an online cocktail party on Thursday November 19 at 7pm IST/GMT when we'll demonstrate three of our favourite whiskey cocktails. The whiskey tasting will be pre-recorded due to Covid restrictions but the draw will take place on social media (Twitter and Instagram).

To buy a copy of the book in advance of the event, head to Kenny’s Bookshop website and order your copy today. https://www.kennys.ie/dingle-literary-festival or in the Dingle Bookshop.

Ticketing Information: Attendees can either choose to 'Pay What You Can' or register for a free ticket. All income will go towards supporting The Dingle Literary Festival to deliver this event and events in the future.
