As part of our Quality Development Programme, Dublin City Childcare Committee are offering Early Years Practitioners and Providers an exciting opportunity to visit Pen Green, Corby, England on Tuesday 25th October 2016
This is a full day professional development trip for Early Years Practitioners and Providers working in services within the Dublin City Childcare Committee's remit area only.
Places are limited and the following criteria will apply:
You must be currently working in an early years setting in Dublin City
You must have a minimum Fetac Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education
Have a valid passport
Available and willing to fly on Tuesday the 25th October
As requested by Dublin City Childcare Committee be willing to share your experience of your Pen Green trip (at events/information sessions/training)
One applicant per service
Please note that successful applicants will be required to pay for their flights and travel insurance (flights cost approx €30)
Closing date for expression of interest for this trip is Friday the 12th August at 5pm
About Pen Green
Pen Green Research, Development and Training Base is an early years research and higher education organisation located in Corby Northamptonshire. Pen Green believe that developing knowledge and understanding through practitioner reflection and action research is a central feature of successful service provision. They offer practitioners in the early years, health and social sectors, a comprehensive range of professional development.
The Research Base is an extension of their centre for children and families. Daily practice is informed by their research and their research is generated from their work with children and families.
