The Women’s Mental Health Network (WMHN) invites you to attend a free learning and networking morning focussed on perinatal mental health.
Speakers:
We are delighted to have the following speakers at this event :
Dr Margo Wrigley, HSE National Clinical Lead for Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Services
Dr Wrigley chaired the expert working group which developed the national model of care for perinatal mental health services and will present on the development of the Model of Care and progress on implementation.
Eileen Ní Shuilleabháin, Principal Social Worker in Adult Mental Health Services, Galway City
Eileen is also a Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist and supervisor, and has a psychotherapy private practice in Galway city. She has provided consultation nationally on service development including for specialist perinatal mental health services. Eileen will present on 'Psycho-social issues in Trauma-informed Perinatal Mental Health Care'.
There will be an opportunity for Q and A and networking over the morning, and for members to share thoughts on the development of the network.

About the WMHN:
The Women’s Mental Health Network is a collaboration between the National Women’s Council of Ireland and St Patrick’s Mental Health Services.
The network aims to provide a forum for information-sharing and networking for those committed to women’s mental health, and to advance interdisciplinary and multi-agency collaboration on women’s mental health issues. The network is free to join and you can opt out at any time by just letting us know. You can find more information here.
Please advise Susan McCormack susanmcc@nwci.ie if you have any special requirements, for example ISL interpretation, accessibility, dietary. This will help us in our preparations for the event. A provisional booking for a sign language interpreter has been made but will only be confirmed, if by Monday 29th April, we have confirmed the attendance of people requiring this service.
