Description

Pharmacy: What does the future hold, one year on”

The Irish Pharmacy Union (IPU), supported by JPA Brenson Lawlor and Pharmawealth Walfrid Private, will hold a business seminar, on Tuesday 18 June, entitled Pharmacy: What the future holds, one year on.

Following on from our hugely successful 2018 seminar, this half-day event will feature insightful and thought-provoking speakers on the future of pharmacy. Contributors will include renowned economist Dan O’Brien, and Gráinne Power of the HPRA, with broadcaster Conall O'Morain acting as the MC. This event is a must for all interested in the pharmacy sector, and is open to pharmacy owners, managers, supervisors and the pharmaceutical industry. There is no charge to attend, but you must register and early booking is advised as this event was over subscribed last year.

The speakers will cover a wide range of topics including:

Brexit and Medicine Supply: Maintaining Readiness
Grainne Power, Director of Human Products Authorisation and Registration, HPRA

Consumers’ Perception and Expectations of Pharmacy
Larry Ryan, Behaviour & Attitudes

The Political landscape and the potential impact on pharmacy business
Lorraine Higgins, Director of Strategy and Public Policy, MKC Communications

Economic factors and implications for the pharmacy sector
