About this event
Philosophy Club is a fun, activity based club for children in 4th - 6th class. Anyone can come along and no experience in philosophy is needed. All we need are curious minds!

Philosophy Club aims to foster an interest in the big questions of life while developing reasoning, judgement, and critical thinking skills based around the Philosophy for Children (P4C) method.
The sessions involve a few warm up thinking games then followed by a media clip to introduce the main topic and stimulate discussion.
The club is facilitated by our member of staff Ian who has an MA in Philosophy and taken the Philosophy Ireland Philosophy for Children training seminars. Ian also creates our Philosophy videos on YouTube and was a judge at this year's Young Philosopher's Awards.
