Phoenix Park Cycle & Biodiversity Talk
About this event
To celebrate Bike Week and Biodiversity Week, we are very excited to host this guided cycle of the Phoenix Park.
Meeting outside Phoenix Park Cycles, we will set off on a gentle cycle through the park, taking in some of the sights and sounds. The cycle will be about 4km each way, on segregated cycle lanes, over flat terrain, so suitable for all cycling abilities.
We will be given a guided talk of the park's biodiversity from the OPW within the walled garden, at the park visitor centre.
Followed by complimentary lunch in the amazing Phoenix Café, where you can enjoy sumptuous, sustainable food in their stunning outdoor setting, while getting to know your fellow Climate Ambassadors.
We will finish our tour by returning to Phoenix Park Cycles, which is at the south entrance of the park, only a short walk to Heuston train station, the Red Luas line, many bus stops or a walk/ cycle to the city centre.
Register today to avoid disappointment!
If you do not have access to a bicycle but would like to join us on this cycle we can hire a bicycle from Phoenix Park Bikes for you. We can cover bike hire for 3 hours.
Please let us know if you need hire of a bicycle for this event in the order form when booking your place.
