Photography Walk and Talk (JANUARY)
Overview
Whether you're an experienced photographer, completely new, or just want to enjoy a relaxed walk and good conversation — you are warmly welcome.
We’re excited to now host this event monthly! After a fantastic first outing and some great feedback, we’ll be adding a little more structure going forward. Each walk will include a short introduction and an optional creative focus or photo task to guide your attention and spark inspiration.
This isn’t a formal photography class — just a casual, friendly space to connect with others, enjoy the beauty around us, and maybe learn a thing or two from the amazing talent already in the group.
What to Expect:
- A gentle group walk to the Point at sunset
- Friendly conversation and a chance to meet new people
- An optional photography ‘focus’ or creative prompt
- A welcoming atmosphere — no pressure, no experience needed
- Opportunities to ask questions and share tips (if you like!)
What to Bring:
- A phone or camera (anything that takes pictures!)
- Comfy walking shoes
- Layers or rain jacket — we’ll go ahead in light weather
- Your curiosity and creativity!
Who is this for?
Everyone is welcome — all ages and experience levels. Whether you're into photography, local nature, or just want to connect with others in the community, this is a space for you.
