We will move, stretch and mobilise deeply into the muscles and joints to release stress and let go of tension.

October is the perfect time of the year for a Pilates Deep Stretch and Release class. As the temperatures begin to drop, we curl up under blankets and take time to bring our practice inwards. This special class will give your body the nourishment it needs to hydrate and move the fascia and connective tissues that surrounds our bodies, which allows for more efficient movement. We will move, stretch, and mobilise deeply into the muscles and joints to release stress and let go of tension in the body. When the body releases tension you feel invigorated, like you are ready to reset with new energy and more focus on you and your needs.

We will encourage the body to release, and reset into the present using breathing techniques, joint mobility and really slowing down the movement so we can truly surrender to the release. The focus of the workshop will be to stretch and release as well as provide you with tools on how you can release tension in your own body.

We will finish and seal this class with a short-guided meditation, so you can leave the mat feeling reset, recharged, and grounded.

This event is open to both our Iconic members and non-members.

About the Host:

With Audrey O’Connor, founder of CoreState Pilates.

Audrey O’ Connor is the founder of CoreState Pilates, the Pilates platform for everybody from absolute beginners to advanced movers. Audreys background for the past 8 years has been in Sports therapy, Rehabilitation and Personal training. She then began to explore Pilates as a tool to supplement her Rehabilitation & Personal Training work and throughout the years Pilates became her passion. After working in the industry for years with an array of clients ranging from strength and conditioning Ireland's top-class athletes to clients with various disc pathologies, Audrey then furthered her studies with Polestar Pilates UK and qualified as a Polestar Pilates Practitioner. The Comprehensive qualification with Polestar Pilates is one of the world's top Pilates qualifications.

Audrey truly believes that once you incorporate Pilates into your weekly routine it becomes part of your lifestyle. It is amazing to work daily in a profession that increases your clients body awareness, health, tonicity, digestive and breathing patterns and overall wellness.
