About this event
Siobhan Flynn Casey – 8th of February – 1pm
Yoga first came into my life while in college in NYC, my hometown. I loved the effect it had on me. It seemed to bring strength and serenity to both my body and mind. Yoga & Mindfulness helps me bring balance to my busy life and I integrate yoga into my everyday life. I embarked upon my yoga teacher training journey many years ago. As a qualified RYT200, I consider myself so incredibly blessed to be able to share the practice with others. Extensively trained & practiced in Hatha, vinyasa, & yin, I love to incorporate different yoga styles in creative ways to offer students a truly holistic experience. While I am a teacher, I am a student first, learning from teachers and students alike, and seeking to expand and deepen my practice.
Mindfulness with Siobhan
Siobhan will show and explain to all participants on The How – The What – The Why we all should take time out of our daily lives to practice mindfulness. Mindfulness means paying full attention to something. It means slowing down to really notice what you're doing. Being mindful is the opposite of rushing or multitasking. When you're mindful, you're taking your time, you're focusing in a relaxed, easy way.
Siobhan will incorporate a short mindfulness exercise with some chair yoga movements for this seminar.
