About this workshop:

Desk based checks are commencing on ECCE and the Transitional targeted childcare programmes. Checks will continue for the duration of the programme cycles.

The compliance process aims to ensure adherence with certain programme rules and contract conditions as set out by the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration & Youth (DCEDIY). This workshop aims to support services to become more confident with the compliance process and to reduce levels of Non-compliance.

Who should attend this workshop:

This workshop is aimed at Early Years providers/Managers or anyone who has a responsibility to ensure adherence with certain programme rules and contract conditions as set out by the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration & Youth (DCEDIY)

Workshop aims:

• Improve awareness of the current compliance process and individual programme checks carried out.

• Minimise risk of conflicting information on programme requirements and compliance checks.

• Reduce levels of non- compliance outcomes going forward.

• To increase understanding of and familiarity with the compliance process– focusing on ECCE, TEC, CCSP, CCSU

This workshop will be delivered by Zoom Video Conferencing (however future training/events may be delivered via other secure video conferencing platforms, such as Skype for Business or Microsoft Teams).

Booking Criteria:

• This workshop has been prepared specifically for ELC & SAC Providers. Priority may be given to services based within the Dublin City Childcare Committee catchment area.

• If this criteria does not apply to you your booking may be cancelled.
• Maximum booking of 2 people per service.
• Booking is on a first come first served basis.
• Places are limited to 20 attendees due to the nature of the training.
