Description
As part of the Harold's Cross Festival, 2015, enjoy an evening of poetry at Rosie O’Grady’s in the company of well-known poets who either live in or have connections with Harold’s Cross. Introduced by Hugh McFadden, participating poets are Hugh, Alan Moore, Catherine Ann Cullen & Tom Matthews. As well as a personal selection of about 3 poems each, each of these poets poet will also recite a Yeats poem to mark the 150th anniversary of his birth. In addition local businesswoman Miriam Kilmurry, whose book on the First World War poet Francis Ledwidge will be published this summer, will recite Ledwidge’s poem “A Soldier’s Grave” at the recital.

There is no charge for tickets for this event. However,if you wish, you may make a donation which will assist with the costs of running this and future Festivals and other activities of the Harold's Cross Village Community Council.
Ticketholders are only guaranteed entry if they are there at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start of the event. After that, people will be admitted on first come, first served basis.
