In 2019, the 60th Yeats International Summer School will take place in Sligo between 25th July - 2nd August.

Directors Professor Matthew Campbell and Dr Lauren Arrington will present an intriguing programme that follows in the fine Summer School tradition of offering a unique learning experience through the sharing of ideas and opinions, during both the formal and informal events of the programme.

Poets Galore at the 60th International Summer School.

Celebrating 60 years of the Yeats International Summer School means celebrating poetry. And this year will not disappoint. We have a wonderful group of poets converging on Sligo this year to mark our 60th birthday.

Our Special Poetry Package allows you access to our main poetry events and experience a taster of what the Summer School has to offer; 2 lectures, 2 poetry evenings, and one evening event:
