The Policing Authority’s mission statement is to hold the Garda Síochána fairly and transparently to account in the interests of all, particularly the most vulnerable. The Authority holds monthly meetings with the Garda Commissioner, some of which are held in public. These meetings in public can be attended by the public and the media, and are live-streamed on www.policingauthority.ie.
