About this event
Join Marta Lopez from the Port Heritage & Communications team in a time travel to the late 19th and early 20th century Port. Engineers valued the potential of photography almost from its invention in the mid-1800s to document their work, which was often very complex. A picture speaks a thousand words. This interest left a rich collection preserved by the Port Authorities, a testimony of the role of the Port and maritime trade as vital drivers in the development of Dublin.
