Precise Application of Fertilisers| Oak Park| Carlow

Teagasc in collaboration with the Fertiliser Association of Ireland are holding a workshop on the Precise Application of Fertilisers.

There are a number of factors to consider before spreading fertiliser such as:

1. Selecting the correct machine for the bout width and fertiliser to be used

2. Using good quality fertiliser

3. Correct setting of the machine

This workshop will be of particular interest to field advisors and agri contractors to ensure the correct application of N, P & K Fertilisers. There will be a presentations on fertiliser planning for contractors and fertiliser spreader technology. Four worships will be run to demonstrate the correct set up of fertiliser spreaders to deliver the correct rate accurately.
