Pride Ride - Waterford Greenway Cycle

This Eventbrite link is for people who need to rent a bike for the event! Please note - if you are bringing your own bicycle you do not need to register via this Eventbrite link. However, everyone needs to register their attendance via the Community Bike Ride website at the following links:

Join us on Monday June 6th - bank holiday Monday - for a social cycle to Kilmacthomas (approximately 20km).

There are two starting points - Waterford Greenway Bilberry car park in Waterford city, and Waterford Greenway Bike Hire shop, Sexton Street, Abbeyside, Dungarvan. Both groups will leave their starting points at 12pm and meet in Kilmacthomas for a Rural Pride celebration! You can then cycle back to the starting point with your cycle leader (40km in total) or make other arrangements to get back via public transport. If you are renting a bike there is a depot in Kilmacthomas so you can leave the bike there.

The full cost of bike rental is €25 but we are delighted to offer community members a discounted price of €10.

The meeting point for Waterford City is Bilberry Car Park. Rental bikes can be collected from the Waterford Greenway Bike Hire Shop on Hanover Street before 12pm.

The meeting point for Dungarvan is the bike hire shop itself - Waterford Greenway Bike Hire Shop, Sexton Street, Abbey Side, Dungarvan.
