Principles of Film: Theory and Practice

Over 20 weeks (between October 2021 - April 2022) participants will receive training in three primary aspects of filmmaking using state of the equipment. There will be opportunities for work placement and mentorship from local businesses and production companies, in collaboration with the Dingle Whiskey International Film Festival. The course is facilitated by lecturer Dr Ciara Barrett and award-winning filmmaker Mark McLoughlin at the Dingle Hub, with guest contributors from the industry. Participants must reserve their place on the course via Eventbrite. Please note, Eventbrite reservation is free, however admission to course will be contingent on payment prior to the start date.
