This PROBE night we are pleased to off a special tour of the Monck Observatory. This teaching observatory contains optical, solar and radio telescopes and is situated on the roof of Trinity College’s Fitzgerald Building.

PROBE at Trinity College Dublin is a free public pop-up festival showcasing the diverse range of academic research taking place in Dublin by engaging and involving the public with live experiments, exclusive demonstrations, interactive workshops, and much much more.

In Trinity’s historic Front Square, the diverse world of academic research will be laid bare with live experiments, exclusive performances, interactive workshops, stand-up comedy and storytelling sessions.

PROBE, a collaboration between Trinity College Dublin and Science Gallery Dublin in parnership with the British Council, is part of European Researchers’ Night, taking place in cities across the continent on 27th September. PROBE is free and is open to everyone of all ages.
