Dr Laura Costelloe explores the role of the educator in promoting academic integrity specifically in the context of assessment.

About this Event

This webinar will provide a range of strategies and tools for educators to promote academic integrity via assessment design. The talk is being offered as part of CCT College Dublin's Excellence in Teaching Series which comprises internal and external speakers from across the sector with the aim of promoting sectoral discourse on a range of key topics. CCT College is a member of Quality and Qualifications Ireland's National Academic Integrity Network. This talk is also being offered as part of National Academic Integrity Week commencing October 19th.

About Dr Laura Costello

Dr Laura Costelloe is an Academic Developer at the Learning Enhancement and Academic Development (LEAD) Centre at Mary Immaculate College having previously held positions as an academic developer, lecturer and tutor at Dublin City University, National College of Ireland, University of Limerick and Université d’Avignon, France.

She supports the continuing development and professional practice of colleagues from across the institution and offers expertise and teaching across a range of professional development initiatives designed to enhance institutional learning and teaching practice. Laura is a SEDA Fellow. She also has the faciitator badge for the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning's PACT Badge and looks forward to teaching a future iteration of the course.
