About this event
This meeting will be a conversation with service providers in the area of GBV in Ireland about the Protect II Project by IOM Ireland.
In partnership with the Irish Department of Justice, this project aims to build upon the capacity for professionals who work with and for vulnerable migrants and minority groups in Ireland, to identify and address the needs of (potential) victims of or suspected victims of Trafficking (TiP) and gender-based violence (GBV) survivors more effectively. It will ultimately empower and inform them on how to approach service provision from a victim centric approach with a particular focus on cultural competency, sensitivity, and awareness.
During this meeting, we want to hear your voice and opinions about the challenges faced by migrants and ethnic minorities when accessing services for gender-based violence, and the challenges you face as a service-provider when working with these communities.
