Make a real impact with the Provost's Innovation Challenge @ Tangent!!
We know how important global and societal issues are to our students. At Tangent, Trinity’s Ideas Workspace, we are committed to empowering Trinity students to make a real impact on society and the world. This year we are once again running the Provost’s Innovation Challenge @ Tangent, and the Trinity community has voted for:

You DO NOT need to sign up if you a) submitted an idea or b) were listed as a team member when the idea was submitted.
Structure of the Challenge:
Friday 20 November: 3.30pm Online kick-off of the Challenge, team building, ice-breaking, and scoping the problem with frontline experts. Workshop with Social Innovation Fund / Rethink Ireland.
Saturday 21 November: 10am - 5pm Solving the problem - working on creative solutions in groups and forming teams; mentoring sessions; and more. Mentor Madness, followed by introduction to
Sunday 22 November: 10am - 3pm Working on and communicating your idea; pitch practice and feedback.
3pm - 4pm Judging for the Provost's Innovation Challenge after which the winning team will be given €3,000! Our judges are Gavan Drohan, Head of Student Entrepreneurship at Tangent; Michael Guerin from Smart Docklands; and Lizzy Hayashida, CEO and cofounder of social enterprise Change Donations.
This hackathon will take place entirely online to keep our students safe - that doesn't mean we won't be creating a fun, innovative, and collaborative environment for you all to work in! A Zoom link to take part will be shared in advance for all students who have signed up to the Challenge.
